OPTIMORENT Car Rental at Rome Ciampino Airport

Upon your arrival at Ciampino Airport, before heading to the rental car company of your choice, please remember to collect your entire luggage from the baggage claim area in the arrivals hall. Most car rental companies at the airport offer a free shuttle to take you to the car rental village.

Once you have exited the arrivals terminal you will find the Autonoleggi/Rent-a-car courtesy shuttle that will bring you to the P6 parking lot on the airport grounds. The Optimorent office is shared with Autovia/Ecovia.

Helpful information when renting an Optimorent vehicle at Ciampino Airport

Most car rental companies in Italy allow drivers under the age of 25 at a daily surcharge. All drivers of the rental car must meet the requirements for the vehicle of choice and they must be present at the time of pick-up as well as listed in the rental agreement.

All drivers need to provide a valid driver’s license, a valid passport, a valid credit card in the name of the renter/main driver as well as the booking voucher with the reservation number.

All passengers are required to wear a seat belt while in the vehicle.

Returning a rented Optimorent vehicle at Ciampino Airport

At the end of the rental agreement please return the rented car to the same parking lot as it was collected from. Make sure to remove all personal possessions from the vehicle before returning the keys to Optimorent.
