AUTOVIA Car Rental at Rome Ciampino Airport

When you arrive at Rome Ciampino Airport, make sure to collect your luggage in the baggage claim area before proceeding to the exit of the arrivals area. All the rental car companies at the airport are located in the car rental village by the entrance to the airport parking lot, including the Autovia rental desk. There are complimentary shuttle buses leaving from the terminal every 10 minutes to take you there.

Out of hours pick up is available for a fee and on request. The fee varies depending on the time of the day the collection of the vehicle is scheduled for.

If you are planning to leave Italy for a day or two using the car, it is permitted to drive it in Germany, San Marino, France, Spain, Switzerland, Austria, Croatia and Slovenia for an extra daily fee. The car has to be returned in Italy.

All drivers must provide a valid driving license, passport and credit card (American Express and Diners are not accepted) and the booking voucher at the time of pick up.

Return the rented car to the same parking lot at the airport as you collected it from.
